Spring Spirit Week

Must be Monday:  Stuffed Animal Day

Bring a stuffed animal of your choice.  Choose a stuffed animal that will keep you company, help you do your schoolwork, and be able to safely fit in your backpack for the ride to and from school.

Totally Tuesday:  Hat Day

That's right! You totally get to wear a hat to school on Hat Day!

Wacky Wednesday:  Anything but a Backpack Day

Clean out your backpack on Tuesday night, and only bring the things you really need to school on Wednesday in a bag, box, bucket, or ???

Thoughtful Thursday:  Outdoor Learning Day

Dress for the weather and get ready spend some time outside as a class.

Fun Friday:  Movie Day

Wear GREEN or your Greenwood spirit wear and watch a movie together.  This might be a movie version of a book your class read recently, or a movie based on a class vote.

Service-Learning Project

Student Council would like to invite everyone to Just Help.  Here are two ways Greenwood students are invited to work together and help others.  Collection bins for donation items will be placed near the main office the week after spring break.

• Option One - Hygiene Kits

Donate items on the provided list.  These hygiene items will be packed into hygiene kits by the Greenwood Student Council and shared with teens temporarily experiencing homelessness.

• Option Two - Share the Love of Reading

Hey Readers!  Do you have books on your bookshelf that you read when you were younger that someone else might enjoy?  If so, check with your parents and consider donating lightly used books to share with others.
