Remote Learning Begins!

The plan for remote learning instruction allows the classroom teacher to directly engage with every student five days a week. 

Each day your child will log on at the start of their assigned start time to engage in three hours of synchronous learning delivered through Zoom, Google Meets or Microsoft TEAMS. Your child’s teacher will communicate which platform they will be using. During this time your child’s teacher will teach reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and SEL (social emotional learning). They will also have synchronous specials (art, music, STEAM, physical education) every other day. We follow a two-week rotation for specials. Teachers and parents alike recognize that it is not reasonable, or healthy, for students to be glued to the computer for three uninterrupted hours.
